Our College
Students describe our faculty as caring and knowledgeable individuals who are committed to the preparation of professionals in a variety of disciplines. The college is made up of five departments: Counseling and Special Education; Educational Leadership; Human Environmental Studies; Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Services Administration; and Teacher Education and Professional Development. Our students are a great source of pride to the college, winning many state and national awards. The College of Education and Human Services is recognized for the extensive involvement of its many student professional organizations at the local, state, and national levels. Our Residential College for all students selecting majors in any of our programs is located in Calkins Hall and has been very successful in bringing together students with common interests, allowing them to share introductory courses and participate in service learning activities and field trips.
