Michigan Basic Skills Test - #96

The Michigan Basic Skills Test (test #96) is a test of reading, mathematics, and writing skills required of all teaching candidates in Michigan. There are four testing dates each calendar year. Registration for the test must be completed several weeks in advance of the test date. Students preparing for Admission need to select a test date so that the results will be received prior to the admission deadline for the admission date you have selected. If you have any questions about the timing of your test date, you should contact the CSS Office.
Register for the test on the MTTC website listed below. Be certain to use the CMU Institution Code (07) to ensure results are sent to CMU. If CMU is not indicated as the receiving institution, it is your responsibility to bring in an official copy of your test score to the EHS Center for Student Services.
