Professional Certificate
A professional certificate requires completion of 18 semester hours in a CMU planned course of study, 18 hours of study completed toward a Master's degree or completion of a Master's degree and 3 years of successful teaching experience within the validity and grade level of the provisional certificate.
A reading requirement must also be met; elementary requires 6 semester hours of the CMU equivalent EDU 330 and EDU 431, secondary requires 3 semester hours of the CMU equivalent EDU 450.
