Temporary Vocational Authorization
A Temporary Vocation Authorization requires a bachelor's degree; completion of an approved major or minor in an occupational area; and two years (4,000 hours) of recent and relevant work experience in an occupational area verified the 'work verification' form for each employer.
Temporary Vocational Authorization is good for 6 years for first time applicants.
The first renewal of your vocational authorization requires completion of 10 semester hours in a planned course of study since issuance of temporary vocational authorization; second renewal requires completion of a total of 18 hours in a planned course of study since issuance of the temporary vocational authorization.

Once the application is obtained, student's must work directly with the department in which their program was signed to renew the vocational authorization.
