Autobiography Guidelines

  1. Treat the autobiography as if it were a job application.  Use complete sentences, proper grammar, and correct spelling.  Make sure you type the form, as hand written forms will not be accepted. 
  2. Spell check does not run on this form.  Proofread your work, and have someone else proofread it as well.
  3. This is your chance to make a good first impression with your host teacher.  Give your host teacher a reason to be excited to have you in his/her classroom.
  4. Be descriptive.  Give the host teacher a chance to get to know who you are before you enter the classroom.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  Every attempt will be made to accommodate your schedule and individual needs.  If your placement forms are turned in with errors, you may lose priority with placements and you will be asked to redo the forms.  If the second attempt contains errors, you will risk not being placed and may be asked to postpone your Miditer experience until the following semester.
