Regina joins the department as a full-time temporary faculty member. She successfully defended her Ed.D. dissertation, entitled Online Education in the Community College: Individual, Group, and Organizational Perceptions of Change, in June and received her degree from CMU this month. Regina also holds a master’s degree from CMU in higher education administration.
Some of you may have worked with Regina in her previous position in the CMU Center for Instructional Design. She served in similar positions at Mid-Michigan Community College and CMU Off-Campus Programs.
Regina and her husband, Joe, live in Mount Pleasant and have two teenage daughters, Amanda and Hana. Other things that interest Regina are reading and bicycling.
Regina’s main research focus relates to community colleges – their programs and the students they serve. She is currently on the board of the Council for the Study of Community Colleges.
Her main teaching will involve adult learning theory, the American college student, and instructional design and delivery. She will serve the department as a major resource in this latter area.
