Dr. Grabinski has focused upon community education and its development in Michigan, complemented by work on voluntary associations, charter schools and with the National Association of Partnerships in Education. On two occasions (1986-1990 and 1996-2001) he served as chair of the department.
His teaching responsibilities include:
- EDL 600: Research in Administration
- EDL 610: Grants and Fund Procurement
- EDL 700: Advanced Administrative Research
